I hope that this has helped you in some way. Maybe put air vents on the roof to make a more believable skyscraper. You can stop at the desired height, and then add a roof. If you have world edit, that would make your job so much easier because it will do the copying for you. Modern skyscrapers are built with steel or reinforced concrete frameworks and curtain walls of glass or polished stone. you could also make variations as you go along to make it more creative. For the black ledges, I made the middle one extend further than the rest to add more detail to it.Ĭopy the design you have just created all the way up for a simpler and easier skyscraper. I added black ledges to the front and then pillars all the way up in the back and sides. Try adding balconies and ledges for a more textured look. I kept the walls the same color.Īdding detail to the skyscraper is a key part of your build. This lovely, stylish 3-tier modern house design comes from YouTuber ManDooMiN, and is perfect for players who want an achievable yet striking and beautiful house with lots of modern touches to set it apart from the more traditional rustic Minecraft house aesthetic. I used a dark green for my color above the window, but you can use any color you wish for that part. NEW LYCANTROPIA CITY: Realistic Modern/Futuristic Minecraft mega city (The City of Dreams) by ArcturusPhoenix. Add color above the windows, but keep the walls the same color. ModernCraft - Minimalistic Apartment/ Retail/ Office Building. Try not to use bright colors like pink, purple, and yellow because it wouldn't look realistic. Modern minecraft skyscraper windows#
I chose to use 4 windows on my skyscraper. anything less makes your rooms much too small because the ceiling will only be 3 tall. Between 3 and 6 windows per floor is best. Now you want to build up the walls and windows as high as you want one floor to be. Next comes the glass and building portion. the more windows the better, but don't overdo it. Use Multiple colors for the base and plan out where the windows will go. Try not to build a square base because it isn't creative and looks dull if not use correctly. Be as creative as you want here because a modern skyscraper has lots of irregularities. Now its time to choose the shape of the building. Try to choose 2 or 3 types of wool(and of course glass) and maybe stone or stone slab. I'd choose at least 3 to 4 different blocks to use to add variety to the building. Wool, iron, and stone make good blocks for skyscrapers because they have a more modern look to them. Try to stay away from netherrack, ore blocks(diamond, gold, etc.) and logs. Brick and Sandstone work well with each other if you are building an older structure. This is an important step because you don't want to go halfway through the build only to realize that the blocks you chose don't work with each other.
